Your holiday home:
Heavenly Haven Kuaotunu is a modern 4-bedroom eco-passive retreat perched above the sea and nestled in lush native bush, where mornings begin with birdsong and days unfold in calm, elevated light.
There are four comfortable bedrooms in total. The main bedroom features a king-size bed and a private ensuite, with expansive doors that open directly onto the deck—perfect for waking up to sweeping ocean views. Bedrooms two and three each offer queen beds, while the fourth bedroom is ideal for children, with bunk beds and a trundler bed providing plenty of sleeping space.
Designed to be naturally warm in winter and cool in summer, the home offers sweeping sea views, quality furnishings, premium appliances, and a fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine – making it easy to slow down, settle in, and truly feel at home.
Perfect for families or groups, Heavenly Haven balances togetherness and space. Kids have room to play in the outdoor sports area, adults can move in the gym, and evenings invite connection around the vine-covered outdoor firepit underneath the stars, thoughtfully positioned away from the bedrooms so conversations can linger late without disturbing those sleeping. With no traffic noise, complete privacy, and the gentle rhythm of nature all around, this is a place to reconnect – with each other, and with the peace that’s often missing from everyday life.
Your holiday world:
Kuaotunu is a quiet paradise not far from Whitianga, with a great beach perfect for swimmers, kayakers or Paddleboarders. Head out for a fish if you are lucky enough to have a boat you can launch from the boat ramp or just fish from the beach.
Maybe pack a lunch and head to Otama Beach the stunning white sands and chrystal clear waters are just calling you out for a swim. After your swim set up your deck chair under the Pohutukawa trees and enjoy the shade and scenery. At the far end of the beach there is a swing great for a photo op!
Along from Otama is Opito Bay again another dazzling beach to enjoy. Take a walk around to Crayfish Bay it takes about 10 minutes and is well worht hte time to do it.
If star gazing is something you might like to do, then book a tour with Stargazers and learn all about the night sky Kuaotunu is the one of the best places to do this as there is very little light pollution.
The little village has a very chill vibe, and you can’t get much chill than Lukes Kitchen, just across from Kuaotunu Beach, it is a hugely popular place to eat and the food is amazing! There is often a queue, but the staff are pretty good at fitting people in, and it is well worth the wait.
Alternatively grab a pie, coffee or an ice cream from the Kuaotunu store a local favourite for years!
If cafe food is more your style, then stop in at Kua Kawhe enjoy fresh sandwiches cakes and coffee and enjoy the atmosphere.
Of course, Kuaotunu is a short drive to Whitianga a nice spot to spend the day with plenty of places to have lunch or dinner and maybe enjoy some retail therapy!
