In the sleepy Coromandel town of Whiritoa is Whiritoa Retreat, a bright and welcoming home just waiting to welcome you for your break away.
The house has three bedrooms, two of which have queen beds and the third room has two singles. There is one bathroom with shower, toilet & basin which is accessed from the hallway or the master bedroom.
The lounge has plenty of seating with a TV, and there is a bright dining area with a table and chairs. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your favourite holiday meals. Off the lounge is a large balcony area with a BBQ and outdoor sofa. A great place to kick back and watch the sunset!
There is parking for cars in the grass area.

Your holiday world:
Normally a sleepy town, Whiritoa has only a couple of hundred permanent residents. Over summer bach owners and holidaymakers head here to enjoy the peace. It is located about 2 hours from Auckland and in between Waihi and Whangamata. There is a convenience store if you need to stock up and there is a library if you need to get some summer reading done! Whiritoa Beach is a surf beach and the surf lifeguards patrol during the summer and of course you must swim between the flags. At the north end of the beach is a lagoon which is very safe for swimming. If you keep walking past the lagoon there is a short walk to Waimama Bay which has gorgeous white sand and crystal clear waters. Along the beach are New Zealand’s Christmas trees the Pohutukawa, which in summer bursts with red flowers. This area is a photographer’s dream. Whiritoa is the place to be if you want a chill vibe, a great place to unwind.
