Your holiday home:
Ocean View Coromandel Designer Paradise
This spectacular beachside property nestled into the northern face of Mt Paku has jaw-dropping views over Tairua beach and out to the Mercury Islands and huge walls of glass on two levels provide light and warmth year-round.
A Simon Carnachan design, the exterior is an impressive mix of steel, concrete, cedar and glass. The interior has a funky industrial vibe and Tasmanian oak flooring throughout.
It’s a modern 3 double bedroom house with 2 off street car parks
There’s nothing but bush full of flax and ti tree and tui before this magnificent view. If you’re lucky, you’ll see pods of Orca and dolphins in the cove below.
The best surf beach on the Coromandel is a 3-minute drive away. Or a 10-minute walk along the stunning Oceana clifftop track with views to take your breath away.
An open plan kitchen, dining area and living room gives space but also connection. You won’t need a TV with the ever-changing vistas out the wall of windows. But if you do there’s a 65-inch smart TV. And of course there’s wifi internet
The kitchen is a modern delight with gas hob and oven and a magnificent coffee machine. It’s got a view to die for and is one of the best places on Earth to cook. Plus, the open plan means that everyone can chat and hang together.
And there’s a deck hanging in space with loungers galore and a sun umbrella for shade. You’ll sit down and never move as the world comes to you. The sea and the bush and the sky. There are binoculars for a closer look.
An internal courtyard with BBQ and fireplace gives you shelter from the blissful sun and any wind. It can also double as a table tennis stadium. There’s also a big old couch with attached chaise longue which is totally nap friendly.
In the garage you’ll find a mini gym, the laundry, a microwave, 2-fold out cot beds and a double airbed. And a toilet. There are 3 toilets in the house in total.
The 3 bedrooms all look out to sea. They’re fabulous places to read and rest.
The Master bedroom has a King bed and a stunning en-suite. Open the louvres and feel like you’re showering outdoors with the sea crashing below you.
A second bathroom also offers spectacular views
The second bedroom has a Queen bed, and the third bedroom has a King bed and a wealth of storage.
All beds feature the roar of the ocean. And views.
