The bach has two bedrooms and one bathroom. The main bedroom features a queen bed, while the second bedroom includes a double and a single bed, making it a great setup for families. The bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet.
Head into the lounge where you’ll find comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV, with ranch sliders opening out onto the deck to let in the fresh sea air. There’s also a dining table, ideal for sharing evening meals or settling in for a game of cards.

The kitchen may be compact, but it’s well equipped with everything you need to prepare your favourite holiday meals. There’s plenty of storage for your holiday supplies along with a large fridge-freezer.
Step outside onto the deck where outdoor seating provides the perfect place to relax with a book, enjoy a snack after a day at the beach, or sit back with a cool drink. In the evening, switch on the festoon lights and enjoy dinner al fresco under the warm summer glow.
There’s also a good-sized lawn area, perfect for lawn games, along with space for car and boat parking.
With the beach just a short walk away and the town centre about 10 minutes on foot, Ocean Corner is ideally located for easy beach days, shopping trips and leisurely lunches.

Whangamatā is about an hour and a half from Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga, and is a popular coastal town known for its fantastic surf and swimming beach.
For adventure seekers, take a kayak tour out to Donut Island, or enjoy a scenic walk to the beautiful Wentworth Falls. The town itself has plenty of shops, cafés and places to grab a bite to eat.
A short drive will take you to Opoutere Beach, home to the nearby Wharekawa Coastal Wildlife Refuge, an important coastal bird reserve. If you prefer calmer waters, head to the estuary with a paddleboard or kayak and enjoy a relaxed paddle.
Whangamatā is also famous for hosting the lively Repco Beach Hop every March. For a week, the town comes alive with vintage cars, caravans and motorbikes from across New Zealand. With markets, live entertainment and a fun, family-friendly atmosphere, it’s an event not to be missed.
