The home has 4 bedrooms. The master has a king bed and an ensuite, bedroom 2 has a double bed, bedroom 3 has double bunks, while bedroom 4 in the sleepout has a bunk bed. The sleepout has a toilet and the washing machine and laundry tub are in here. The main bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin.  The living spaces are bright and colourful with some great Kiwiana artworks on the walls. The lounge has comfortable couches, a TV with Freeview, and a large ranch slider that leads onto the deck. The kitchen has a gas hob so it won’t take long to whip up your favourite holiday meals. It also has an island bench with stools. The dining table has room for 8 people. Off the kitchen is a second lounge which has a bi-fold window and a ranch slider great for letting in the cool summer breeze. The home has great indoor/outdoor flow. The deck runs along the front of the house and drops down to a patio area where the outdoor dining and BBQ are. A Reel Retreat has lots to offer with board games and puzzles. Guests are also able to use the 2 surfboards and there are 4 boogie boards to use as well. After a day at the beach you can rinse off under the outdoor shower before grabbing a cold drink and nibbles and enjoying those lovely summer afternoons reading, or just hanging out with your family and friends making wonderful memories. The bach is close to the Surf Shack which is a great eatery and is just around the corner. Waihi Beach Village is just a 5-minute drive away.
So book this holiday home now you’ll be “Reel” pleased you did!

Your holiday world:

Waihi Beach is a popular spot with boutique shops and eateries. The beach is very safe for surfing, swimming, or fishing. If you feel like a walk then there are coastal trails to Orokawa Bay, Humunga Bay and Anzac Bay, along the way you will see waterfalls, headlands and historical sites. Waihi is famous for Gold Mining, so why not head to the Waihi Discovery Centre for some insight into the gold era or have a nosy at the Waihi Arts Centre & Museum.
If you want to keep the kids entertained why not try the Goldfields Railway & Hauraki trail. Take a train ride and explore the Karangahake Gorge.
For those of you who enjoy the arts take a look at the Waikino Victoria Battery & Mosaic Garden. The Waihi Lavender Farm is close by as well.
If you enjoy a round of golf, then pack your clubs as Waihi has a beautifully maintained golf course. For the boaties there are several ramps available, however the safest one to use is at the Bowentown Boating & Sport Fishing Club. The southern-most ramp is open to non-members. There is a charge to use the ramp so please check current pricing. The 2 other ramps that are available are sandy and can be quite soft, so smaller vessels are best launched from here i.e jet skis.
