Esplanade Waterfront Escape is part of the Esplanade Apartment complex centrally located on the waterfront with a wee view of the harbour. The apartment has 3 bedrooms. The master has a king bed, bedroom 2 has a queen bed and the third room has a single bed. It is equipped with one bathroom and two toilets, and there is a washing machine available for use during your stay. The lounge area has a lounge suite and a smart TV. The apartment has a dining table which seats 6 people, the kitchen is well equipped with an oven and a dishwasher. The apartment has air-conditioning which keeps you cool in summer on your family holiday and warm in winter which makes the apartment a great option for a romantic winter getaway, or a winter weekend with friends. The lounge has large doors which open onto the deck where you will find an outdoor dining setting. A very nice little spot to enjoy your morning coffee and take in the fresh sea air and of course you can enjoy your evening meal here as well. The complex has a communal swimming pool and spa there are also sun loungers, so an afternoon around the pool with the kids is a great option. Parking is available on the lower level of the complex and there is a lift which is a great help if you have a bit of luggage.

Whitianga is a popular holiday destination located on the Coromandel Peninsula. It is the gateway to some amazing beaches and scenery. Wandering the shops is a good start and if you get a bit peckish head to one of many delightful eateries whether it’s a pie and donut, or a sit-down lunch with a cold beverage. There are plenty of options. There is plenty to do for the kids as well with mini golf, movies, an awesome skatepark and kids’ playground, and of course there is the Mercury Bay Museum. For the adults a trip to the Lost Springs Thermal Spa and Hot pools is a great way to while away a couple of hours relaxing in tropical surrounds. If you make your way to the wharf, you can catch the passenger ferry to Ferry Landing & take a walk over to Front Beach. Tour boats also leave from the wharf which can show you around the area and stop off close to Cathedral Cove within the Marine Reserve, and watch the fish, go for a snorkel, or take a cave tour. If fishing is your idea of a good time, there are plenty of Charters that can take you out. Or you could take a drive out to Hahei or Hot Water Beach.

The apartment is within walking distance to town where there are some wonderful eateries and takeaway options.
