Fairway Getaway is a modern holiday home located on the 3rd tee of The Dunes Golf Course. The home features four bedrooms: two with queen beds, one with two single beds, and the fourth room has a set of bunks. Easily accommodating up to 8 guests. There is one bathroom equipped with a bath, shower and toilet and another separate toilet. The open-plan lounge, dining area, and kitchen are bright and airy, offering a view of the golf course. The lounge provides ample seating and a flat-screen TV, the dining area accommodates up to five people, and the modern kitchen is fully equipped for preparing your favorite holiday meals. Outside is a fantastic deck area that runs across the front of the house and has a spa pool, bar leaner, outdoor dining table a BBQ and a pizza oven all with views of the 3rd tee. What a fabulous way to spend your days and evenings sitting on the deck enjoying a book or in the spa on an evening enjoying the night sky. The bach has a heat pump/ air conditioning so no matter what time of the year you choose to visit you will be warm and cosy or nice and cool. The beach is a short walk away from the bach so you don’t need to enjoy golf to stay here, Fairway Getaway caters for everyone.

Your holiday world:

Matarangi has one of the safest beaches on the peninsula, enjoy a day relaxing on the beach, you can swim, body surf, and even throw a fishing line out. You can take a walk or a ride on the walkways and tracks around the village, head to Rings Beach, ride or walk the 8km track or walk along the Matarangi Beach and Spit track. Matarangi has a beautiful 18-hole golf course with club rooms and a restaurant. Every Saturday there is a village market take a wander through and buy some local produce and chat with the locals; the market is located near the 4 Square Supermarket.
If you happen to be staying in Matarangi in April, then you should try “A Taste of Matarangi” a festival where you will be able to try local food and wine and enjoy some great local music.
Take a drive to Whangapoua Beach, which is the gateway to the undisturbed beauty of New Chums Beach a stunning beach only accessible by boat, or by foot at low tide.
Matarangi has several tennis courts available to the public and they are free to use just bring your tennis gear.
The boat ramp is easily accessed so take the boat and cruise out to the beautiful Great Mercury Island, enjoy a swim in the clear waters, or head out for a fish or a dive there are some great spots to find a crayfish for dinner.
Whitianga is about 30 minutes away and is home to “The Lost Springs” You can unwind in the thermal pools nestled in a tropical setting, offering a serene way to spend the afternoon. There are also restaurant and spa facilities available for your enjoyment.
